Like the technologies of previous revolutions\, AI has its own share of environmental and ethical considerations. This session will highlight some of the environmental and social ethical issues imbued in generative AI\, including energy and water consumption and the creation of electronic waste. In addition\, we will outline some of the labor and bias issues entailed both within the production and use of AI systems.
