There are three phases to the Workshop Activity:
- Phase 1: Submission phase.
- Phase 2: Assessment phase.
- Phase 3: Grading evaluation phase.
Phase 1: Submission phase
Step 1: Click the Workshop activity in your Moodle course.
Step 2: Notice the Open and Deadline dates. You will only be able to submit your assignment during these dates. Click the Start preparing your submission button.
Step 3: Add a Title for your submission.
Step 4: Attach your file by clicking Add and then browsing for your file.
Step 5: Click Save changes.
That completes the submission phase of the Workshop Activity. Once the Workshop moves into the assessment phase then you will need to assess other students’ submissions using the rubric that is attached to the assessment.
Phase 2: Assessment phase
Step 1: Click the Workshop activity in your Moodle course to open it.
Step 2: Click the assess button under the students work you have been assigned to assess.
Step 3: Complete the assessment by choosing an assessment for each category in the rubric.
Step 4: Click Save and Show Next.
Step 5: Complete this for each submission you were assigned to assess.
Step 6: This completes the Assessment phase of the Workshop.
Phase 3: Grading phase
You will receive a grade for your submission and a grade for your assessment of others. After the assessment phase has ended, you will find your grades listed in the workshop. To see your grades open the Workshop activity in your Moodle course.
