February 1, 3 – 4 pm Mastering Gmail and Google Calendar 

Gmail and Google Calendar are used every day!  Learn about the features that make your communication and scheduling easier! In Gmail, we will cover labels, filters, and settings.  In Calendar, we will cover using multiple calendars, duplicating events, settings, and more! 

February 8, 3 – 4 pm Canva Basics
Canva is a graphic layout program for flyers, newsletters, presentations, infographics, mind maps, and more.  With thousands and thousands of templates, Canva is a great resource for design.  Canva Advanced and Canva New Features will be offered if there is demand.
February 16, 12 – 1 pm  Cybersecurity Q & A

Do you have questions about Cybersecurity that you have always wanted to ask?  Here’s your chance.  Hear from our new Cybersecurity Analyst Pat Kawula and me about some hot tips on cybersecurity for home and work.  We will discuss scams we’re seeing…and the tools and mental tricks to help you identify these scams.  We will answer your questions throughout the discussion.

Introduction to AI for Staff
Are you curious about AI, but don’t know where to start? Come find out about various AI tools (I’ll demo Google’s Bard), writing prompts for AI tools, integrating AI with Google searches, and AI tools available in our everyday software (like Zoom, Canva, etc.).
February 29, 3 – 4 pm Google Docs New & Unused Features
Covering new and not very often used features in Google Docs such as multiple signatures, templates (canned responses), voice typing, comparing documents, smart chips, dropdowns,  editing/suggesting/commenting, table formatting, setting up a time to meet, and more!  
TBD Canva Advanced
Canva has new and exciting potential!  This is an advanced class on using Canva techniques such as photos, frames, color palettes, and filters, as well as, creating a reusable custom template.  This course will be scheduled if there is interest.  Please email athornton@nmc.edu to let me know if you are interested!
