I love teaching–planning lessons, diving into my content, working with students–but I admit I’m less fond of grading, especially at the end of the semester. But now there’s an alternative to those long, lonely hours of grading —The Long Night of Grading brought to you by CIE, the Osterlin Library and Educational Media Technologies. On Thursday, Dec. 15, just when you are most buried by tests and papers and projects, the library will be open for you to grade with your colleagues. We’ll have pizza, coffee, a raffle, and all the help you need–whether it’s help finding a source a student has used in an essay or assistance in working out final grades on Moodle or even someone with whom to talk through some of those difficult grading dilemmas. So come early, stay late and make a dent in that pile of grading while enjoying food, caffeine, and camaraderie.
Thursday, Dec. 15 6Pm – 10Pm
How late?
We will be there from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
