Dear Eric:

Bionic reading is a new method facilitating the reading process by guiding the eyes through text with artificial fixation points. As a result, the reader is only focusing on the highlighted initial letters and lets the brain center complete the word. In a digital world dominated by shallow forms of reading, Bionic Reading aims to encourage more in-depth reading and understanding of written content.

I have Dyslexia and have tried many different screen readers, but none of them work for me! Do you have any new ideas?

Sincerely,

Lindsay Wagner

Dear Lindsay:

Good news! There is a new method for helping neuro-divergent readers. Our brains are able to recognize words in just a few letters, and can process words faster than our eyes can interpret them. Bionic Reading takes the onus off of our eyes, which in turn reduces the complications that can take place for some people with cognitive issues, such as ADHD or Dyslexia. The Bionic Reading app is currently free, and available on most major app stores. Check out their website here for more information, or to load the app in your web browser or phone.
