Fall registration is now open! Here’s some tips beyond faculty advising that anyone can use:

 

– Talk to your current students about the classes you are offering in Fall! Suggestions of different classes they can take can help them sort through the options. Plus it can boost enrollment in your classes!

– Encourage them to meet with their advisor! Use Moodle or classroom time to discuss open registration and the importance of checking in with an advisor (especially if they have holds or want to transfer).

– Emphasize the importance of early registration! Students always have more options when they register early. Help spread the word by encouraging them not to wait! Especially if they want certain classes, or to take them in a certain mode (online vs face-to-face), earlier is always better.
