After grades are submitted on August 12th, we’re planning to upgrade to Moodle 2.9, the most recent version of the course management system. We’re excited about the many new features that will be available following the upgrade, but we know you’ll have some questions. You’re invited to attend either of the open training sessions below to learn about new features. Click on the Google Calendar button to save the event on your calendar.
August 21st 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Beckett Building 217
August 26th 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Osterlin 113
In these sessions we’ll be demonstrating new Moodle features including:
- Grade book user interface improvements.
- Grade book single students/assignment views.
- Importing grades from a spreadsheet.
- Grade history reporting.
- New Natural weighting aggregation.
- Auto save.
- Quiz builder improvements.
- Attaching a document to an assignment.
There will be some time for you to access Moodle 2.9 and ask any questions you may have. Additionally, we’re meeting with several departments individually to offer the same overview.
Can’t make it?
If you cannot attend, don’t worry. We’ll be publishing 2.9 training material soon. Keep an eye out for a Scoop article with training videos and documents.
