Ben Post and I traveled to Grand Valley State University on November 4th for the ETOM (Educational Technology Organization of Michigan) Annual Fall Conference. Co-presenting a session called, “Faculty Support Strategies for Post-Covid Campuses”, we facilitated a lively and informative discussion about best practices and trends in faculty support for in-person, hybrid, hyflex, online, and livestream courses. Flexibility and adaptability were two of the key themes that we brought back to NMC with us. Instructional technology/online learning support units kept their schools afloat during the “pivot” days of Covid and continue to play important roles at their institutions.
For a great summary of the conference, please read Eric Kunnen’s post on the GVSU Innovate blog. Under Eric’s leadership, GVSU has been a leader in instructional technology innovation.
Thanks for the kind words Terri! It’s always great to compare notes and spur each other on into innovation!
