Save the date for August PD on AI literacy for faculty and students! Whether or not we use AI, all faculty have a responsibility to know what AI is, how it works, and how it will change our students’ careers. Program details are being finalized, but plan on a discussion of our summer book read, Co-Intelligence: Living and Working With AI by Ethan Mollick. Copies are available in the Ed Tech office or by contacting Janet Lively — jlively@nmc.edu.
We’ll start with lunch at noon in the old library area of Osterlin. Workshop sessions will be upstairs in Osterlin. The advising office promises that orientation will be over at noon.
Attendance at August PD is contractually required of full-time faculty. Adjunct faculty are encouraged to come and paid for attendance. Staff are welcome, as always.
