Did you know you can access millions of books, magazines, news and scholarly articles from around the globe via the NMC library databases? Our databases aren’t just here for students, but are here for all the faculty and staff too! Database resources can add a global perspective and breadth to your courses. They are also helpful for fun and general knowledge too.
Not sure where to start? Begin with our basic search on the library homepage. In one search, you will access over 40 different databases. You can limit your search by date, type of material, language and geographic location.
Looking for a worldwide perspective? Use LexisNexis Academic to look at global news from foreign presses. Articles can be easily downloaded and added to Moodle.
Looking for a international book? Try Worldcat.org. Worldcat is an index or catalog of books, web resources, and other material in libraries worldwide. From 12th century manuscripts to current titles, this catalog of over 40 million book records is updated daily.
