Did you know that you have the option to turn your shell off until you want your students to see it?  Summer course shells are now visible.  Your students CANNOT see this until 5 days prior to the start of that course. If you would rather your course shell be turned off until you meet with your students for the first time; you can turn it off.

You have the ability to hide or show your course.

1. Go to your course.
2. Go to the Settings/Administration block.
3. Click Edit Settings.
4. Under General, click the drop down menu next to Visible.
5. Select Hide to turn your course off.
6. Select Show to turn your course on.
