On behalf of the TRENDS in Occupational Studies committee, I wanted to share with you the “Call for Presenters” form.  This online form is used by the various committees (Technical, Health Sciences, IT, General, etc.) to solicit potential presentations for the 2017 conference (Oct 19 – 20, 2017).

This is your chance to show off something you are doing in the classroom, within your program, or with a student group.  It is a great place to showcase an idea or stimulate conversation.  In addition, there are small stipends available to bring in subject matter experts, trainers, or speakers for a particular topic.  Last year we had everything from general topics such as “Promoting Your Program”  to technical training in automotive and nursing.

I am serving on the Technical Committee this year, so if you have any questions or concerns, I will try my best to answer them or route them to the responsible party.  I hope you will consider presenting at TRENDS.  The application form is due March 3rd.
