Here are a few items that will make it easier for you in Moodle coming this Fall.

Gradebook Features:

Moodle has made navigation easier by adding a scroll bar at the top of the Moodle Gradebook. You no longer have to scroll to the bottom to find this.

Restrict Access:

They have improved the restrict access options in Moodle allowing restrictions to work together. You will have the option to add the following types of restrictions:

• Date.
• Grade.
• User Profile.
• Restriction Set.

If you want to add multiple restrictions you can now add nested restrictions to apply complex logic.

Grade Notifications:

The assignment activity in Moodle now has the Grade Notification option back.  For those who do not want students to be notified of a grade you can change the default setting of “Notify Students” to no. The notification will no longer go out and the student will not be notified of grading.
