We are in the last phase of  removing VHS Technology from our campus. Soon, we will no longer have any VHS tapes in our media library nor will we have VHS players for use with your own VHS tapes. If you are still actively using a VHS tape from our library, please let Michelle Autry know as soon as possible so that she can help you find an alternative. You can reach her by email at mautry@nmc.edu; include the name of the video and the call number.

One great alternative to check is, Films on Demand. This  is a great resource available to you and to your students. There is no copyright restrictions to follow with these films as this is included with our service. You even have the ability to add these films to Moodle by a link or embed code.

In addition, if you are currently using Video Distribution, this service will also be going away. You will however, still be able to check out the physical DVD from Educational Media Technologies to play in your classroom. You can call to reserve the video for pick up or we can deliver this to you via interoffice mail if time allows.
