AI Literacy for Faculty and Students: Get up to speed on Gen AI with tips on adjusting assignments and assessment. Discuss models of Gen AI syllabus policies and best practices for discussing Gen AI with your students. Bring a laptop or tablet for this hand-on workshop. And come hungry. We start with lunch from Grand Traverse Pie Company downstairs in the old stacks area, then move upstairs for announcements and workshops.

  Medical Emergency Response Training: Empowering Faculty & Staff

Be ready to respond when it matters most. This interactive training guides faculty and 

staff on handling common medical emergencies until professional help arrives. Specifically, the workshop covers how to perform hands-only CPR, use an AED, and report incidents. As always, we start with lunch!

Learn more about programs that support our academic high achievers. We’ll get tips on 

designing meaningful honors contracts and information on opportunities for students available through NMC’s honor society.  We have coffee, naturally, and donuts.
