It’s difficult to mention only one notable moment, as the entire conference was filled with nuggets of pure gold. It was great to hear about ways of creating better command line interfaces (CLIs) as well as plan new lessons from the information for CIT 112. It was even better to see such prevalence on many of the topics already discussed in that class.
How likely are you to recommend this opportunity to a colleague?
Likely
Do you have any big takeaways that you’ll be applying to your pedagogy in the near future?
Implementing a new AI policy that clearly defines six levels of usage from absolutely none up to exclusively AI. Taking advantage of the different levels properly exposes students to the use-cases and limitations of generative AI while still reinforcing learning.
