Where’s Cousin Eddie?  He normally eats these things.

Flying Squirrel LeapingThis was one of many Christmas Vacation quotes that were being thrown around yesterday at my house.  We had a visit from a flying squirrel who made his way into our furnace.  After attempting to catch the little guy with various garden tools, just as the squirrel in Christmas Vacation hides on Clark’s back, our visitor hid in the furnace filter and escaped into the basement.  It was a very exciting day, but we finally managed to catch him.

And talk about exciting!  The Gen Ed Outcome for Communication is now in Moodle.  If your course covers the Communication Gen Ed Outcome, this semester you will be using Moodle to report student scores on the Communication rubric.

We have created a video tutorial, as well as how-to documentation on how to configure the outcome in your Moodle gradebook.

We will also be holding several two-hour workshops on how to add the Communcation outcome to the Moodle gradebook for your classes this semester.  Please feel free to drop in at any point during these two hour workshops and receive some help, ask general Moodle questions, or offer me a few tips on how to get rid of flying squirrels.
