ED TECH NEWS:
SPRING CANVAS COHORT:
Our successful Canvas LMS fall pilot has expanded into a much larger spring cohort, growing from 16 to 56 (!) instructors. This cohort will receive extensive support from both Canvas and the NMC Ed Tech team over the next several months. Available support includes Canvas-led trainings, Ed Tech drop-in sessions, bi-weekly check-in meetings, and access to self-paced Canvas Corners, Canvas Community pages, training portal resources, NMC’s Growing with Canvas course, and much more.
Even if you’re not part of the spring cohort, you still have access to all these resources. Contact Ed Tech for more information. And if you’re not quite ready to transition to Canvas this winter or spring, a robust schedule of summer Canvas trainings will also be available.
NOTE: Moodle will no longer be available next fall, so your transition to Canvas has to occur no later than August of 2025. You can do it! And Ed Tech can help!
