Document Sharing

Google Drive

Share Google Drive folders with students for access to course Docs, Sheets, or Slides. Use the collaboration features to have students co-create or add comments to documents or use the chat feature during synchronous document creation.

Moodle Files

Using the Files feature allows you to add any file from your computer or storage device in your course. You can search for files using the Add icon or use the drag and drop feature.

Creating and Sharing Videos

Panopto is NMC’s video creation and storage solution. From creating (presentations, webinars, live streams, etc…) to editing, sharing, and storing videos, Panopto is the tool to use. Unlike Ensemble, Panopto is tied to NMC’s single sign-on (SSO) system. So if you are logged in to NMC, you have access to Panopto (https://nmc.hosted.panopto.com/). For easy access, there is a link to Panopto on the myNMC homepage.  On your Panopto homepage, you’ll find eight “Getting Started with Panopto” videos to help familiarize you with the service.  In addition, you can start by signing up for Panopto support (https://support.panopto.com/s/), which gives you access to dozens of tutorial pages, Zoom training seminars, and weekly Q&A office hours. The CTL Knowledgebase also has several resources for you to review.

Student Access to Panopto

Using Panopto, students can upload video submissions to a Moodle course. There is no file size limit for student submissions in Panopto. Please submit a help desk ticket to get assistance with this feature.
