Do you need to cross-list Canvas course sections for spring? Confused about the process for adding Gen Ed outcomes to your course? Have an old Moodle course you need imported into Canvas? Want to learn about secure online testing with Respondus? Wondering about best practices for content delivery in our new learning management system? Just need a shoulder to cry on or a person to laugh with as you mentally prepare for spring semester? Ed Tech is here to help! That’s right! The first Canvas Day Camp (formally #RUMoodleReady) is right around the corner!

Canvas Camp, January 8
Come join us and get assistance from your favorite Ed Tech wizard! While we’re always available via Help Desk ticket, phone call, walk-in, or Zoom session, we’ve also set aside the entire day of Thursday, January 8, from 9 am – 4 pm to work alongside you as you get your courses ready for spring.

We’ll be in the Timothy J. Nelson Innovation Center computer lab room 123 and on Zoom (https://nmc.zoom.us/j/93480839224?pwd=r8TRt9OOKU3i4QtHqTY03YbOMVuHv6.1) to help with your most pressing course preparation needs. We can assist with anything Canvas, Respondus, Google Docs, or Panopto-related – from gradebook setup, the creation of cross-listings, course transfers, video recording/sharing/editing/captioning, or even just serve as a sounding board for content development, instructional design, and technology best practices.

And, most importantly, there will be snacks!
