The annual Liberal Arts Network for Development Conference (LAND) for Michigan community college faculty and staff will take place in Muskegon Feb. 15-17. As well as being the most affordable conference in world history, LAND offers attendees an opportunity to learn about what’s happening on other campuses across the state.
The conference opens Wednesday evening with a meet-and-greet gathering. On Thursday, the agenda includes three rounds of lightening talks, an awards luncheon, a panel discussion of the Guided Pathways Initiative, and an optional offsite dinner. Friday, choose between a Creative Writing Workshop and a Higher Learning Commission Presentation. These concurrent sessions are followed by Student Scholar lightening talks.
