The May NMC Scan is dedicated each year to the subject of demographics. This issue includes data on the topics of population trends, unemployment, median income, educational attainment, the fastest growing/biggest industries and occupations in the U.S. and in our region and more. Of course there’s always the “Things to Watch” section which is part of each NMC Scan and allows us to cast a wide net to pull in a range of topics that may impact NMC and/or our learners.

Please take some time to consider how the NMC Scan can: inform new program or service ideas (which can then go through the decision making process), provide useful content to share in class discussions, or inform your participation in NMC committee work.
