After months of development and testing, CIE is pleased to announce that our new PD request form is up and running. You are welcome to submit requests. Check out our instructions on where to find the form. 

The form has an improved messaging chain. Your request goes first to your chair, who decides if your request fits your goals, etc. CIE is the next approver. We check whether you meet our policies for frequency and cost. Next is your office manager, who does the paperwork and helps CIE track final costs. Finally, your request goes to Ryan Bernstein, who will loan you an NMC flag and a Swoop for a photo op. He will also request a short report on your conference.

We received our budget request for individual professional development for the year, so we have sufficient funding for conference travel by full-time and adjunct instructors. Show your appreciation for this incredible benefit and plan to get PD’ed this year!
