This year, CIE has chosen two books for our annual NMC Reads book selections. The two books are Mindsight: The New Science of Personal Transformation by Daniel Siegel  and Make It Stick: The Science of Successful Learning by Peter C. Brown, Henry L. Roediger III and Mark A. McDaniel. These books will be available to faculty compliments of CIE (please choose one) at Advising’s Faculty Appreciation Luncheon or over the summer from Rita Kucera (Tanis 52 in the Educational Services Office). We will then have a chance to discuss these books at the October Professional Development Day.
