A new quiz question format has been added to our Moodle system.  This new question format called Ordering, allows students to drag a random list of answers into the correct sequence.

This new format will work well for:

Steps in a process (spit, put toothpaste on your toothbrush, put water on your toothbrush, put toothbrush in your mouth, move brush around).

The order of events (fetch a pail of water, Jack and Jill went up the hill, tumbled after, fell down and broke his crown).

The sequence of historical events (Civil War, Revolutionary War, Korean War, World War II, World War I, Vietnam War).

This new format can be used by creating a quiz in Moodle, creating a new question, and selecting Ordering.  Items are then entered in the correct order in the question editor.
