An owl named Swoop went to Austin town,
To see what the school folks at SXSW-Edu had found.
The day before, he visited the Botanical Garden,
Nine and a half miles walked, his feet didn’t harden,
Though, afterwards, to bed he was bound!
The Big Walk With twenty-one thousand plus steps,
He joined all the tech-savvy adepts.
At SXSW EDU,
He saw things quite new,
In the halls where the smart people kept.

So what did Swoop Learn? Here’s a Taste!:
The Magic of AI A bot that can help when you’re sad,
Or tell you where food can be had.
It automates care,
To show we are there,
And makes all the students feel glad.
Swoop learned about tech that can improve campus:
The Maker Space A printer that’s really quite grand,
Can turn pelletized wood into sand.
With bamboo or copper,
Or a plastic-bottle-stopper,
It builds things all over the land.
Clearing the Way For those with a record from youth,
We’re seeking a way to find truth.
Expungement can help,
Without a sad yelp,
To give them a future, in sooth.
Fresh Food for All The Mobile Food Pantry is great,
It fills up a student’s own plate.
No processed-food blues,
Just fresh things to choose,
Before it is ever too late.

While walking his nine-mile-long loop,
A cup of Ryze met our friend Swoop.
The taste wasn’t right,
But he held on quite tight,
For he heard it would help him to poop.

In Texas, Swoop took a ride,
Representing NMCiIn a Rivian R2 with pride.
Electric and state-of-the-art,
It captured his tech-loving heart,
“It’s cool!” the small traveler cried!
Swoop loves a good sushi roll,
And Japanese culture’s his goal.
With J-Pop and tech,
And Mark Rober on deck,
Austin’s SXSW fed his soul.

In Austin, the food was a treat,
With Texas BBQ he found his favorite savory meat.
The best was down a dark alleyway,
A hidden speakeasy taco buffet,
He found his new favorite treat.

He met many folks on his way,
And made new friends every day.
But he’s glad to be home,
No more needing to roam,
Sharing new knowledge is his new joy, he would say!
