Did you know that Educational Media Technologies has a selection of technologies that you can check out to use, experience, or evaluate? These are available for check out or use in our Ed Tech Lab. In many cases, EMT staff can assist you in learning or getting started.

Here are some of the toys we have available for your use:

Kodak Video Cameras: These are simple and easy to use video cameras, which can be used to record student projects, presentations, or even  instructional videos for your students. Have a classroom project planned? Call ahead to reserve the cameras.  Students can also check them out for up to 3 days to work on projects outside of class time.

iPads: These come with some of the applications that are currently being used by instructors here on campus like Evernote, Dropbox, MoodlEZ, iAnnotate, Educreations, Showme, and much more.

Galaxy Tablet:  This is an Android device for those who would rather use an Android. This tablet also comes with some helpful applications to get you started.

Turning Point Clickers: Have you ever wanted your PowerPoint presentations to be interactive? Well here is your chance to try it. Check out our set of clickers to enhance your experience and engage your students. We would be more than happy to show you how this works.

Laptops: Have a meeting off campus or need to use a laptop for an event? We can help.

Ladibugs: As you have heard, we have Ladibug document cameras in several classrooms. In the near future, all of the classrooms will have one. In the meantime, we do have a small supply available for you to use.

Web Cameras:  Are you doing a Skype session in your classroom? Why not check out a webcam so those on the other side can see you.

Headphones: Are you in need of headphones? We do have some available for use.
