Helping Your Students Read the Textbook

Thursday, Jan. 11, 10:00-10:45 in SH 204.

The first session led by Nancy Gray and Kristen Salathiel will be a practical, hands-on workshop focused on specific ways you can help students effectively read–and learn from–your textbook.  Bring the textbook from your course.

Build Your Own PLM

Thursday, Jan. 11, 11:00 – 12:00 in SH204.

The second session led by Mark DeLonge and Tom Gordon will be a hands-on workshop where you can build your own Perceptual Learning Module using the student-authored PLM website. To prepare for this session, Join the PLM community at plmlearning.org.  Once you’ve joined, send Mark or Tom an e-mail so they can get you “permissioned” in as an instructor.

Come when you can.  Stay for as long as you’d like.
