The following are advising updates in preparation for Fall 2014 Registration. Advising Center Liaisons have been meeting with each academic department to provide more detailed updates and training. Should you have questions or need further training in your department, please feel free to contact your liaison.
MTA: The new Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) will take effect Fall 2014. Students who have attended NMC (continuously) prior to fall 2014 may still complete the MACRAO until the end of Summer 2019. Copies of a “draft” comparison between the MTA and MACRAO,as well as a draft Group 1 list were sent to you via email and distributed in your area meetings by liaisons. - Transfer Fair — March 19th, 10:00-2:00, Welcome Center.
- State and Federal Internship Workshop — April 9th, 3:00-5:00, Osterlin.
GPA Calculator: See the improved GPA calculator at the following link: GPA Calculator. This resource assists students and advisors in estimating the upcoming semester’s GPA,(includes repeated courses).
New Math Formats: The Math Department will be offering new format options for some of their courses. Format descriptions will be sent when finalized.
