Devan DePauw, Welding Instructor

When it comes to leading the way in providing for the advancement of curriculum and program offerings to students, Devan DePauw in the welding department is really going the extra mile. With the initial acquisition of a welding simulator and Robotic Welding Machine, the bar was already set pretty high in providing the students with the latest technology for training and industry experience. Now, recently, Devan has also acquired a Plasma Cutting table and an industrial grade break, used to cut steel. With this equipment and the development of curriculum to provide training, Devan will be able to offer students a full associate degree program in the Welding Technology field. His passion for the industry and the students interested in this career field are tangible in the workmanship and professionalism of his students.

Aside from this Devan is an avid wood-worker and plans on being able to offer his talents as an EES instructor in the off season to generate interest in the wood-working field.
