ReadSpeaker is a text-to-speech and document viewing service used by thousands of websites worldwide, and it’s now available for your Moodle course. By adding the ReadSpeaker block to your Moodle course, your students will be able to listen to nearly everything in Moodle including activity descriptions, forum posts, quiz questions and even your documents.
In the future we plan to include ReadSpeaker as a default block in all new Moodle courses. Right now, we’re manually putting the block in many summer and fall courses. Everyone processes and learns information differently and this is yet another tool to help our students access course materials in the best way possible for them.
