History instructor Dr. Julieanna Frost recently traveled to Oneida, New York, for the Communal Studies Association Conference, accompanied by NMC’s favorite travel partner, Swoop!
During the three-day event, Dr. Frost presented her early research on religious seeker Edgar Peissart, gaining valuable feedback from peers in her field. A major highlight of the trip was a encouraging conversation with noted communal studies scholar Dr. Timothy Miller from the University of Kansas.
Dr. Frost gave the conference a glowing review and highly recommends it to colleagues interested in communal history and research. Check out the photos below to see Dr. Frost and Swoop in action during their professional development adventure!
